We are looking to buy a rental property in Austin and its surrounding suburbs.Please advise and any recommendations for good real estate agents ?

Set your expectations clear before househunting. Most properties you look at are going to negative cash flow, some may break even. Now is a good time to purchase with equity.

Hey Sonia, I suggest finding an agent that is also an investor. They will be able to know and tell what's a good deal and what's not.

Do you have any preferences in terms of rental types of properties? SFH, Condos, duplexes, multifamily, retail, etc?
