In Los Angeles you can now sell or buy an ADU. Anyone have any knowledge or experience with this? What are some of the potential pros and cons of a homeowner selling their ADU? https://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/faces/billNavClient.xhtml... Does it create an easement? I would think it would lower the main residences value. Thoughts?

I had not heard that Los Angeles was a participating city. Can you post a link showing that Los Angeles is a participating city of AB1033.
Here is my take: 1) there are already ways to do this throughout the state for those who know the various options 2) the only cities that will choose to participate in AB1033 are those that already support extreme ADU additions. The only city in San Diego that I think has any chance of choosing to be a participant would be the City of San Diego and I would consider it a long shot. City of San Diego had considered implementing SB10 but the residents protested and the support deminished. I suspect the same will be the case for AB1033.
