Help (1st ga tax sale went well — I THINK)

I have several questions… but here’s a little context first: I started getting “analysis paralysis” on the sideline wondering what was the best time to dive in to real estate with limited funds ($40k) so……..

I went to an in rem judicial tax sale recently and won a 12 acre parcel in McDonough …. I got into a slight bidding war with one other person and since it was my entire budget I’m nervous I overpaid, or worse yet: there’s no market for raw land….

So here’s the questions:

Redemption is in 60 days, after that it’s mines I’m told…. Since it was in rem does it need to be quiet titled? (My plan is to flip it)

Are there any other people on here that bought raw land as their 1st RE purchase?

Any tips to make it more desirable to sell?

I’ve been on BP for years (just created a new profile since now I’m not just a tire kicker anymore)

thanks in advance

Damian
