I would love to hear from real estate agents on why they never have their email address listed anywhere? If I wanted to reach out to a realtor, the majority of them never have an email address published anywhere. Can someone explain to me why that is the case?
@Chris Seveney While that doesn’t apply to me as I do share my email publicly and why I get so many spam emails. A lot of agents avoid listing theirs for that reason, to cut down on spam and phishing.

People who Don't publish their email lose out on a lot of business. They should just have two email accounts. One for public consumption and one for personal or trusted.
Yes, a lot of spam (some from Nigeria and other exotic places, but it's easy to tell. I honestly believe most agents became agents because they were told it was fast, easy money, but they don't like people, so they don't do the things that get's them business. To me it's self selecting.
Would you really want to list with someone afraid of people?
@Ken M. I agree that having a separate public email can help capture more opportunities. That said, some agents really do get into the business thinking it is easy money but for those of us who have been in it 5+ years, we know it is not. It takes consistent effort, systems and strong people skills to actually succeed.

I have my email and also cell phone everywhere. I agree it is very weird that many agents do not. Even in MLS often agents hide their cell phone by only putting their brokerage branch office phone which makes it very difficult to call and reach the actual agent. Avoiding spam is really not valid, takes 1 second to sort that out.
I am a pretty good case study for why it's not an issue, I run a YouTube channel with 10k subscribers and my contact information is everywhere, including BP. See below.
