Hello everyone! I have an unconventional duplex on 1.5 acres in the Schenectady/Albany area. My previous realtor wants to sell it as owner occupied. I have tenants in the duplex -take excellent care of it and would like to live there forever. I am hoping if I find the appropriate realtor who mostly works with investors this can happen. Please let me know if you know of anyone in the area!

Is your duplex in Schenectady schools?
If so then it may be worth more to an owner occupant than an investor. It is a VERY depressed rental market in Schenectady right now. I think your Realtor may just be trying to get you the most money!

I apologize if I inferred my realtor is evil, he is not at all. I know some realtors mainly work with investors and this would be suited for an investor. I know the tenants want to stay and with an investor this would be a plus :)
