ORLANDO KISSEIMEE SANFORD SCHOOL DISTRICTS

Hey guys is it true that the best school districts in the Orlando-Kisseimee-Sanford MSA are:

1. Seminole

2. Fl Viirtual

3. Sumter

All 3 districts are rated 7. Is this accurate ?

    Hi Jason, many schools in Orange are also highly rated. Winter Park and parts of downtown Orlando, for instance and Dr Phillips-Windermere-Winter Garden area as well. Florida Virtual doesn't count as far as I'm concerned- it's same basic curriculum and works well for some, not so well for others who aren't ready for self-guided school (and computer based). Even within Seminole co the "school grades" are varied but Seminole is consistently considered by most to be the best overall for greater Orlando.  I'm not sure about Sumter. Even in parts of Orlando where schools as whole may not be highly rated, there are those who shine.

    I live in Winter Garden.  If you are looking for specific towns/cities in the Orlando area with the best school districts here is my list.

    1 Lake Mary

    2 Windermere

    3 Winter Park

    4 Altamonte Springs

    5 Lake Nona 

    6 Doctor Phillips

    7 Winter Garden

     Thank you Courtney. So would you  suggest I narrow my search in the Seminole and Orange school districts?

    @Jason Ma: I think that depends on your goal. There's wanting to make good location decision as an investor and there's quality school check before considering relocating with children of your own. If you're the latter, work with your agent to describe any special needs, priorities or desires you have for neighborhood and school. Either way, if you haven't decided on a realtor, happy to help.

    I just wanted to reconcile my research. Just wanted to confirm that the following are excellent schools in the Orlando-Kisseimee-Sanford  MSA:

    Rainbow Elementary School

    Partin Elementary School

    Whispering Oak Elementary School

    Indepence Elementary School

    Timber Lakes Elementary School
