I have a daughter attending UNM and am considering purchasing at a minimum 2 bdrm/2 ba condo or townhome in a safe neighborhood near UNM for less than $150k.  Not sure if we’d keep it as investment after she graduates or sale; therefore, it needs to be in an appreciable area.  Willing to go no further than about 7-8 miles from campus.  Any suggestions?
