Can you make a cash offer on a house with a contingency?
I have seen a number of houses in my area with contingencies on them.
Can I make a cash offer and ,if so, does that take precedence over a contingency?
Also, if so, can I propose a lower priced offer and how is that considered on a contingent house?

@Christopher Fawls A cash offer precludes any financing contingency, which is pretty big, and attractive to sellers. You can still have other contingencies. An inspection contingency is the most common.
