What is the website, I believe it was 4 letters and based in dallas, somethign like flyp, that charges a 1% fee to list and market a home you have for sale?

@John Collins Well, that’s the whole reason to get the property on the mls....so all the agents with buyers will show your property to them. And, they don’t work for free.
The 1% (or $500 or $900 or whatever you pay a discount broker) just includes listing it, Not the commission to the buyer’s agent. Now, I have seen discount listings with only 1-2% offered to the buyer agent but guess what.....No agent shows that property to their buyers. The agents that would show it have agreements with their buyers to make up the difference in the lower commission so the buyers will discount their offer by that much anyway
There's no free ride if you want to use the network of agents to sell your house. And by the way, it's still the way to Net the most, since that's where all the buyers are. You can always FSBO it, and think you're saving the commission, but 90% of the buyers out there will never see your house.
