I’ve begun looking into building a cabin in Pinetop Arizona, and found a really interesting concept/company called AYFRAYM. They basically provide you with the designs/drawings, as well as all materials pre cut to assemble the A-frame cabin. The cost is $150k-ish, however I’m curious what rate/percentage to expect from a contractor to assemble/etc/etc?
I can't give you specific numbers for a contractor, but from a legal standpoint, it is likely worth the cost. You could face significant liability if someone is injured by an improperly-assembled cabin. It would also be easier to insure and resell the cabin if you can prove that a licensed contractor put it together. Just some food for thought!
