Hey guys I’m paying all cash on a sfh and wondering what costs will I be paying at closing? Normally the bank incorporates ins and taxes into loan but if I don’t have a loan am I paying upfront an entire year of taxes and insurance?

Thanks in advance everyone.

So insurance companies usually offer either an annual payment or a monthly option (sometimes monthly will even cost more)  Property tax is generally sent out by the county twice a year but timing depends on where you are in CA it is April and December.  As for other "closing costs" it is really just paying for the escrow and inspection etc. which shouldn't be more than $1,500.

    cash transaction will

    just be purchase price.

title and escrow if you choose to go through them. ( 99% of folks do )

they will have a myriad of charges plus the title insurance.  but like said above depending on purchase price 1 to 2k for that.

    inspections are your choice.

and normally escrow prorates tax's.. so you just pick up the tax's going forward.. etc.. that's about it.. pretty simple really.
