Just tried the new rental property calculator. It does not seem very useful. Are there new advantages over the old version that I am not appreciating? I was very glad a link was provided to the older version.

I am not a fan either. The only benefit I see is the sliders under each catergory which allow you to change variables quickly without having to edit the orignial report again. Otherwise the old calculator is superior.

Ahhhhhh, but what we need now, is feedback on HOW the old calculator can be improved. Always remark when things move away from the better, but share your ideas on what really could be improved.
I am not a fan of the new calculator, but am not a big user of it. Soon to be!

I would love to see the property description box on the old calculator accept more characters. I have submitted this request, but so far haven't seen it change. I would think it would be easy to expand the allowable characters in a box...
