I will say his Cardone University stuff has been pretty awesome.
Care to elaborate? His tactics seem to be the bastard child of a used car and timeshare sales person. Do people in your world really respond to that? Do they list their properties based on a hard sell?
Sure. Not to speak for all the 1,000's of videos, 100's of pdfs and all his books included with Cardone U, but his sales training has given a lot of practical and ethical ways to navigate conversations with clients. I have been in sales my whole life from insurance and investments to finding my own deals before becoming a realtor. You assume too much in your comment about how me and my team run our business based on us discerning that Grant's sales advice has been good for us. No, we don't go for a "hard sale" we do everything we can to make a deal happen in the best interest of a client. I have negotiated my commission many times if it meant the difference between my client selling their home or not, BUT we list our properties at what they should sell for and no more. That his little to do with the sales part and more with the marketing of a house really. But i will say the same thing i told my friend when he judged my frosted flakes and bacon bits treat "don't knock it until you've tried it" because until then, you don't know
@Stephen Schott I have bought and sold over 4,000 units and roughly $250 million in value, so I understand the philosophy about marketing and being different.
You need to be able to attract with a message with "shock and awe" so people remember you.
Again I feel I understand the marketing concept.
My concern, and someone who has raised millions from investors for my syndicate deals, if my investor saw the video without advance notice or a heads up, they would be holy "bleep bleep bleep", I got millions with this dude and he just sank our ship.
In my opinion, I think it is poor taste as people are really suffering right now.
My business keeps growing without Grant in my circle of influence and I will keep it that way. I am working towards owning my own Jet.
If Uncle G is a fit for you, take what he is dishing and 10X'it...
Anyone (or thing) that motivates me - helps me make money. Grant C. has definitely done that for me at times.
Having said that, when he did his first podcast, I believe it was 108, he wasn’t involved in any reits. (He wasn’t taking investor money at that time, the way I understood it). This video did seem reckless in light of the fact that so much investor money is with him now. It would make an investor think 2x about investing with him now.
Moral of the story - 10x your own investments, but think twice (2x) about investing with him!

Brian i was just responding to someone who called me out for following Grants sales training in particular. I wasn't talking about his investments or investors. I was strictly speaking the comment made by Anish

Your analogy with Frosted Flakes and Bacon bits are the perfect analogy for Grant Cardone. It looks, smell and tastes good (to some people) but will make you sick in the long run if you take too much of it! And I don't assume anything about how you run your business. But hey, if it works for you, good for you!
