Looking to Purchase a Multi-Family Home in Northern NJ
My husband and I are first time home-buyers. We want to purchase a multi-family home, live in one unit, and rent the rest. We are researching areas in northern NJ to purchase (where we currently live and work). I was wondering if anyone on this forum has purchased multi-family homes in northern NJ and had success renting them out. What areas did you buy in? We're having trouble finding a mix of affordability, rental interest, and safety.
