How much does it cost for seller in Tacoma,Washington

I am planning to sell my house in Tacoma Washington and I live in California. Does anyone know what are the fee for the seller eg. a $300,000 home in Tacoma Washington? Thanks

@Charles D. As a seller you should expect to pay between 5-6% in commissions (I wouldn’t pay more than 5%) With excise tax and title/escrow fees expect another 2.5-3% in fees. So a total of 7.5 - 8.5% in fees.

You’re going to get lots of brokers offering to help you by posting something like this. Just make sure you hire someone that knows your market. Ask the agent where they typically sell/work. Find someone that primary works Tacoma.

    Thanks for the reply. I thought escrow fee is 50/50 between buyer and seller. Should it be 1.5 %?

    @Charles D. Charles both sidee of commission will come out of your side. Probably about 2 1/2 % on top of that. What are you selling? If you do it off market you can save most of that.

    @Charles D. - Are you asking about commissions or title/escrow fees and closing costs? As the Seller you will typically pay both a listing fee and buyer's agent commission as well as half of the title and escrow fees. Washington as charges excise tax when you sell. All together, I would ballpark your costs around 8-9%. Some wholesalers will advertise low/no commissions, costs, etc... which can be great but there are pro's and con's (like anything in real estate) and the property won't be listed on the MLS so you will have lower exposure to potential buyers.
