@Keela Chambers - since no one has responded yet, I'll throw in my tuppence. If you're referring to you as a prospective buyer, I can't really see much benefit. You may learn something but the certificate isn't going to be worth much, unless I'm missing something.
What does the person promoting the workshop and providing the certificate say the benefits are?
