List of Foreclosures by the Government

Is there a simple way to get a list of homes that have been foreclosed on in my area?

Any guidance or help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Perhaps, but not a lot of value in it. You can't buy them until they put them for sale thru the local MLS sites, or their auction/bid sites.

The best place are the big 3
www.hudhomestore.com When a FHA loan foreclosed on it will be on this one.
www.homepath.com When a Fannie Mae loan foreclosed on it will be on this one.
www.homesteps.com When a Freddie Mac loan foreclosed on it will be on this one.
These sites are free and open to any one to look on. If you want to see one or put an offer in on one you will need to contact a real estate agent in your area to help you with that.
