What's up BP Community!!
I'm looking to improve the curb appeal of my 3F Red Brick building. I am considering upgrading the exterior doors (7) to black fiberglass...Although, I'm unsure of what door brings the highest ROI? I look forward to hearing your inputs
Hey! I recently went through a very similar decision process. I ended up going with a brand called PlastPro. For a 6 ft 8 in door, unfinished, 5 1/4 in jamb size, it was $2,087 per exterior door pre-tax. From what I found, for the quality, this was a good price.
I am on the West Coast so not sure on availability in MA.
Why not just paint or stain the door - easy, cheap, looks good
I would find it hard to believe a door would significantly increase ROI - unless it is a high end flip. If this is a rental, just get something that can be easily replaced and functions. I don't think a specific door increases rent, at all, and really definitely not enough to justify the cost
@Franklin Marquette@Jeremy Horton I will look into PlastPro brand. I recently got a quote from Lowe's for about $3500 per for black fanlite fiberglass doors which include installation. This came out be higher than expected therefore I'm looking for other options. Potentially buy doors seperate and hire installers through thumbtack...the doors that I currently have are junk and need to be replaced
I dont think there is a specific door that brings the highest ROI. It has to fit well with the design. But like other features, it is one of many that come together to make the home more valuable.

Thanks in advance!
A new front door provides the single biggest ROI on a property. Don't worry so much about WHAT door provides the best ROI, as much as you should consider the type of door that matches the price of the house. Don't put a 20k wrought iron door on a home valued at 100k. You won't get your money back....
I would recommend looking at both Lowes and HD for their stock doors and getting a local installer. NOT Lowes or HD installers they are way too expensive.
If you need something really high end, look at local door places they will have a wider selection.
HD and Lowes have been good to me for low end doors all the way to lower high end stuff.
