1st Fixer deal in Myrtle beach SC

Hi I'm Nate I have been wanting to jump into real estate investing since I was 15. My father had worked for a young house flipper who was about 31 who had done millions in deals. It made sense to me that this was the route to go to retire early. I'll cut straight to the point, I'm looking to learn how to flip houses. If anyone lives in the area or is close I'd be happy to volunteer a bit to shadow and learn. Or if you are an agent with a potential deal that could be a live in flip, please reach out! Thanks

Love the hunger, Nate. Start by learning the flip math on paper, not YouTube: find three recent sales, back into ARV, subtract buy, rehab, holds, and sell costs to see your true margin. While you do that, stack your team now: one investor‑friendly agent, one hard‑money lender, one GC with references, one title/closing contact. For reps without risk, offer to walk deals, pull comps, or manage bids for a local flipper in exchange for sitting in on their weekly check‑ins. Easiest entry is a live‑in light rehab with clear exits in a C to B area. If the spread's thin, pass. Your first win is small, clean, and repeatable.
