Looking for recommendations on some good banks to try for a refi with a home equity loan. I called Bank of America, Wellsfargo, Chase, and Ally. They all said they have suspended refi with home equity loans. I live in the North Alabama area.
I am not really educated on this very much, but I'd call around to smaller community banks, local credit unions, and even reach out to private money lenders, as they have really good rates right now. Hope this helps.
