A friend is interested in selling and financing a piece of land to me in Tennessee and neither of us know the exact process. He's already has the land surveyed. Can someone explain or point us in the right direction as to the next steps? Thanks!

You will want to have a deed prepared and a deed of trust prepared for the financing. An attorney can do this; I would suggest Woodbine Legal in Nashville if you need someone. Good luck.
