Reminder: professional credentials don't mean much if one doesn't specialize in real estate. Me and this colleague of mine have identical EA credentials... Same goes for the CPA credential.

I once hired a CPA/Tax Attorney, admitted to Tax Court, who couldn’t figure out my real estate taxes (granted, it’s a little more complicated than the average return) but it taught me how to spot someone who knows what they are talking about, pretty darn quickly. The initals CPA, EA and JD don’t mean a thing, it’s the brains & experience behind the initials that count.
