Are there any rental Laws in Texas I should know?

Hi there! We're starting with rental properties in the next few months. Are there any Texas specific laws we should be aware of besides tht standard non-descrimination laws?

    I would read the Texas Property Code regarding rentals.  I think it is good to read this about every quarter.  I would also get a copy of the TAR lease and the TAA lease and read through them multiple times.   Good to review it now and then....maybe every six months.
