 Highly recommend @Julius Vincent. As @Aaron Zimmerman said, you don't need to have a CPA in Texas but Julius happens to be in TX. Give him a ring.

    @John Rose - you've come to the right place. For CPAs, Texas does not have a state income tax, so I'd focus on a real estate cpa over a local cpa. There are a lot of great CPAs on here that would be able to help. I'd look to see who actively comments and who has reviews and then interview a couple.

    If you are looking to connect with a hard money lender, you are possibly doing "BRRRR's".

    BRRRR's have unique tax implications which you want your CPA to be knowledgable of.

    Furthermore, Texas does not have a state income tax which does open you up to having more options available.
