Looking for local vendors in Maui
Aloha,
New investor here and excited to be getting started in Maui. We just finished remodeling a single-family home with an attached ohana unit. The ohana will be rented furnished as a midterm rental (6mos +)
Before listing, I’m building out my systems and looking to put together a reliable local vendor list. If anyone owns rental property on Maui and is willing to share recommendations, I’d greatly appreciate it.
Specifically looking for:
- Handyman
- Cleaner
- Electrician
- Plumber
- Flooring
- Painter
- Appliance repair
We’ve considered property management but decided to self-manage initially for learning purposes, especially since our family lives in the main house.
Open to any feedback, lessons learned, or suggestions from those who’ve been through this already.
