Good Afternoon Everyone!
We just moved to Knoxville, TN from the Bay Area of California, where we were able to find dirt cheap pre-fabricated granite slabs for a really good discount (likely sourced from China). We have had no luck finding a supplier here in Knoxville that will go below $40 a square foot fabricated and installed. Does anyone have a good contact in the Atlanta or Knoxville/Nashville area for pre-fab or at least less expensive supplier? We don't mind running around! Thanks!
That's about 200 miles from where we are. If you could ask that would be awesome. We are also willing to supply measurements and pick up the slabs closer to Duluth. Thanks!
Good luck. There are a few cheap suppliers of builder-grade granite, but they are notoriously hard to deal with.
That's been our experience as well, Aaron. We are hoping to get the same deal we got in CA, but are not sure that'll be the case. At least everything else is less expensive out here!
Atlanta has some of the best prices for granite I have seen..
@Steve Yoo I have a company in Norcross that did it for $20/psft for a rental.. came out really nice.. There's also a company in Alpharetta but it's off the beaten path but maybe 20 miles closer to Nashville @Sarah Gamble

@Kelly Ejirika thanks for the tip! Would you happen to have company names for either of those? We don't mind the drive. Gas prices beat expensive granite right now!
There are several in Chattanooga, TN and Dalton, GA that range from $20 to $30 a foot installed. I found them on Chattanooga Craigslist. Hope that helps.
