Seeking decent Cleveland Property Management Company

Seeking decent property manager in the Cleveland Ohio area. I can see this is a very hot place with a lot of action.

What I am personally seeking is a PM that picks up the phone when calling or returns the phone call with in 24 hours. If this is not possible please don’t reply on this post. For some reason PMs get a signed contract and think the property is theirs. The reality is I pay a fee for a service that I expect to receive.

Second PM that offers good rates on maintenance and repairs. I have been in the business for years and prices in Michigan are or should be the same as Ohio. It’s not California, but I can see with a hot market some people getting taken advantage of.

If your company offers this please contact me looking forward to doing business in the near future.

Thanks

@Arsen Atanasovski first of all, make sure that your property manager has a broker license with the state of Ohio.....there have been already quite few cases when out of state investors worked with not licensed PM and couldn't get any recourse for the damages.

The contract needs to be in place and verify the credentials with the Division of Real Estate in Columbus. Most brokers don't want their agents to do PM and it means these agents do it illegally, because they are agents working for their brokers not by themselves (until they get licensed as brokers).

Then, I'd look for a PM company, local to your properties. Cleveland is too big to do quality PM from west to east suburbs. My clients who switch PM, were unhappy that their Tenants called them and told about repairs to be done. Do you want that when you're paying your PM every month?
