@Pete M. PM me the details and I'll share it with a GC I know.  If hes interested i'll have him reach out to you.

Location, reno scope, budget, timeline, cash or financed.  All will be helpful for him.  I know hes busy but I think he wants to add a project manager so he needs more work.

@Reese Haley  Did you have any luck, by chance?  Still curious to have a pocket GC in that area.

@Reese Haley and @Pete M., How many projects per year are you looking to do?

@Andrew R. Lucas  Probably not many... we're closing on our first property (duplex) next week, but plan to expand in the future.  So it'd start slow, but the sky is the limit as we grow.  No immediate projects, just looking to establish reliable folks for the future.

    Thanks.

@Will Gaston It's in the Cayce/West Columbia area.  Older building, needs a few relatively minor immediate fixes, and there's room to build another duplex or triplex in the future.

@Andrew R. Lucas Will PM you.

    Thanks.

Hey @Andrew R. Lucas, I have been at a conference in Dallas this week. I am currently looking at purchasing either three duplexes in the Rosewood and Shandon area or a single duplex near Fort Jackson, but I am working on assembling a team that can work with me on these projects when I'm ready to move forward. At a minimum, I want to purchase one duplex before the end of the year and then gradually increase each following year.

Hey @Ryan Copeland, I've purchased a few this year.  Not sure about that post.

Did you need help with making your next purchase?

@Andrew R. Lucas @Will Gaston do you guys can recommend a GC that can give a quote about some minor repairs and perhaps on a duplex I have under contract in Columbia. I close in less than 3 weeks and would like a quote so I can plan accordingly. I would really appreciate any recommendations. This is my first property and I’m planning to househack it

@Mohamed Amine Khalladi I do almost all of my stuff with an in-house handyman. A good GC in Columbia is something that has still eluded me. I've had good experiences with Easy Electric for electrical and Crawl Space Medic for termite/subfloor repair, and Airtec for HVAC. Punch List Pros may also be a good option for you if they're only minor repairs.

@Will Gaston I will checkout Punch list Pros. If you have a good trustworthy handyman that can walk the property with me and give me a quote for the light repairs needed I'd appreciate it

I have a great GC that I have been using. His name is Brian Arnold, he’s based out of Forest Acres. I’ve reached out to him and he’d be happy to chat with anybody looking at projects. His cell is (323) 877-6521.

I recently used him for a full rehab on one whole half of my house that was destroyed my a tree. Over $100,000 project and I have zero complaints about him and his team. They were great!

@Mohamed Amine Khalladi  Congrats on  getting under contract with the Duplex, that's awesome. What side of town are they on.  I'm Blake, a Realtor in both NC/SC but live and from Columbia SC. I work with a 2 GC's regularly and could  get you a quote this week if that would help.
