Hey all,
Does anybody have any recommendations for property management companies in San Antonio, TX? I've looked on Google and the ones with the best reviews on there almost all have horrendous reviews on Yelp. Does anybody have a company they are happy with?
@Justin Pumpr one thing to keep in mind about reviews is that almost every tenant that gets evicted is going to leave a bad review, and often they get their friends and family to do the same. If a company manages close to 1,000 doors, inevitably they'll have at least a few evictions each month, which in turn lead to several negative reviews. The vast majority of reviews have nothing to do with what your experience will be with the manager as an owner. It's best to get referrals from other investors in the market.

@Justin Pumpr
Hi Justin, I have been happy so far with Randy Morris at Morris Realty. If you would like an intro, lmk and I can connect you two. If you have any other questions about RE and San Antonio, just DM me and we can discuss.

I wasn't aware Randy Morris did PM services. He is a great guy and I would highly recommend working with him and his team. I'd also recommend @Joseph Cacciapaglia with PMI Birdy Properties, very knowledgeable about our market.

Please do not use Yelp as an accurate site for reviews. They are scum to be blunt. They extort small business owners into paying for Yelp ads. If you do not pay, they bury your positive reviews, remove them or in some extreme cases create fake negative reviews. Total sham of a company. This happens in all industries on that site.

Thanks to all For those that are using property managers there, have any of you had to deal with evictions, major repairs, or emergency repairs? If so, how were those handled? @Tom Rairdon@Stone Saathoff@Manaia Alalamua

100% accurate! Yelp is the devil! We used to own an advertising company and it was absolutely unbelievable the way they would treat small businesses. Never trust their reviews and don't use them at all. Who wants to support that kind of nasty bullying?!
