Hi,
We have been considering using Codebox type lockboxes for self showings but have been concerned about prospective tenants or vendors not putting the keys back in the lockbox. This gave us the idea to look into keyless locks to aleviate this issue.
Does anyone know of any keyless locks that automatically reset the code after a certain period of time and does not need Wifi?

Hi @Jeremy Chaudet, I haven't learned of any non-wifi keyless locks that reset, but I heard of few companies in this space that I'd never heard of doing some high-level stuff on a Jason Hartman podcast in the last 2 months -- that'd be worth giving a listen.
As far as the key-based boxes go . . . I've had issues, but none of those have involved someone forgetting to put the key back. The Rently service in particular incentivizes people well NOT to forget this.

There are a couple including Rently and Caretaker. They use Bluetooth. No wifi required. Also some of the lock boxes are smart and detect if the key isnt returned. I’ve been doing some research so it’s top of mind. Message me if any questions.

Updates: Rather than driving electronic lockboxes everywhere, my company is connecting smart locks for remote access management and showings-saving everyone time and money.
One of my most significant challenges for out of state properties was keeping keys where boots on the ground could access them.
Tenant Access also has financing options that lessen the cash flow burden.
I'm currently in talks with Codebox about using their API to connect to Tenant Access with Codebox's API. In this scenario, all showing services using Codebox can be connected to smart locks instead.
