Auction.com holds a free meet-up event to help investors learn about the process of purchasing foreclosed properties at the Philadelphia Sheriff Sale.

It's a great way to meet with like-minded investors.

    @David Weintraub Are the Auction.com meet-ups held on the same day (Last Thursday) of every month? I would love to attend as I am currently researching investment properties in Philly and lived in the city for 7 years from 2002-2009 but wont be able to make it out this month. Thanks!

    There's one tomorrow night as well.  

    I think if you sign up with auction.com they email you the dates.

    The auction.com (ADC) events seem to vary state by state.

    Hudson County/Jersey City is always the Tuesday before the sale.  The Philadelphia event is always the Thursday before the Tuesday sale.

    Oh, and the Jersey City event has free beer/wine.  Just sayin' :-)
