Hello Everyone, 


Our meetup will be held Wednesday, May 17th at DK Marias Tex Mex in South Austin at 1807 W. Slaughter Ln from 7-9.

The speaker is TBD but regardless we will have a great group come out to talk about current deals, present questions and discuss any opportunities they may have available. This is great chance to meet other investors local to the area whether it be to learn or build a relationship that may lead to partnering or leads.

I will update this if a speaker is confirmed, if not we will engage in conversation on current deals, topics people are interested in and work to build the meetup to be catered to what the majority of the group would like to learn about.

    I’m hoping to be in Austin for your event. Just starting in real estate investing with my wife and we are relocating to Waco from Louisiana over the summer. I lived in Austin over 20 years and just moved a year ago. Looking forward to being back and involved with Austin RE. I love Austin!

    Hi @Chirag Shah, Yes its a recurring event, we are aiming for the 3rd Wednesday of each month at the same location. Its a fairly new group (<1 year) so still ironing out a few issues so I will keep everything updated here. I look forward to meeting with you tonight.

    Awesome @Daniel Tisdale,  congrats on the first house. Next months topic is going to be financing including hard money. I have my hard money lender coming along as our guest speaker. It’s scheduled for June 20th and I’ll post details up on this forum next week. Welcome to the group!

    Sounds great @Scott MacDonald! I unfortunately have an obligation on Wednesday evenings from 7-8 PM until early August, but would love to catch the later half of this meeting and future ones until I have more free time.
