I am also looking in the Little Rock area for mid to larger multi-family properties (100 + units). For that size the listings are usually with ARA out of Memphis, TN -

You can find brokers via loopnet. I would recommend clicking through there. If you click on a property, then go to the right side of the page, you will get a list of brokers. Click on those brokers and browse. It will show each broker with all of their listings. What I have been told is the more listings they have, the better the agent. All theoretical from my perspective as I have just heard and read that, never practiced. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the input @Greg Rollins, there are not many agents that do MF in LR and are listed on Loopnet, My personal opinion and experience is that a personal referral works better.

I do some. Just got a 24 unit deal signed today. But honestly, if I find a good deal, I'll just buy it myself. If you find a deal you want to have someone represent you on, I may be able to help. But you'll have to find them on your own. I remember you going through a deal recently where you were asking a bunch of questions on BP. It made it seem clear that you either didn't have anyone representing you, or that person was not doing a good job of it, because those questions should have been answered by whoever was representing you.

HI @Eric Pinter, I worked with local attorney in Little Rock and was happy with the service, rest assured all my questions were answered.
The lingo in the US is different then in NZ, so sometime asking questions helps to clarify few points.
We also don't have large, cash flowing multifamily building so yes, im getting myself educated on regular bases. and will probably continue my education forever.
My last purchase is a 4plex in Sherwood, Arkansas and its going well. learned a lot from the process and looking to buy some more. inventories are very tight.... I see some coming and going on the MLS but they are going for very low yields. at this stage im looking for small MF up to 4 units but would consider up to say 10 units or some depend on the price and location.

@Hadar Orkibi stay in touch. We are working towards getting involved in neighborhood revitalization where 60k tax credits per reno are involved (obviously with a ton of guidelines, all reasonable though).

I have met a few of you on this thread but I will introduce myself. I am a Realtor and REI in central Arkansas. MF units are harder to come by these days but knowing they are in high demand I will be starting a "Focused search" in July for sellers who own MF units in central Arkansas who will be looking to sell.
