Recommendations needed for a CPA in Temecula/San Diego area

Finding myself in need of a good CPA in the Temecula/ San Diego area after the sudden death of our beloved friend and CPA.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    I'm so sorry to hear about losing your friend and CPA. It's always a heartbreaking thing to deal with.

    Thank you Natalie and Katie for your responses.  Natalie, unfortunately my husband is wanting to stay local, as to be able to meet face to face. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to even respond. It means a lot. 

    Katie, we have a rental property, but it’s not in CA.  Currently we are residing in Fallbrook.

    Amanda Han is in Fullerton. She is great and driveable from Temecula. She's been on the BP podcast and has written a book too for BP.

    Hi Kimberly!  I have been using Harold Newman (www.newmantax.com/contact_us.htm) for four years and have been pleased with him.  Throughout the year if I have any questions, I email him and he promptly answers my questions.

    Kimberly Ballmann The firm I use is in Encinitas. He’s great (not the cheapest) but Encinitas is a good long way from Temecula! If you can’t find one in the Murrieta/Temecula area, PM me and I’ll tell you who I (happily) use.

    Hi Kimberly,  I use Daniel E Greene CPA.  They are right here in Temecula.  He's great with rental properties, separate businesses, etc.    I highly recommend him.  TEll him I said Hello  :)

    @Dave Ketcham  Amanda Han seems a bit overpriced.  Her office tries to sell a complete package which includes tax preparation services and the minimum fee was a few thousand dollars (I think $3-4k!!).  She doesn't really do tax preparation only from what her staff mentioned because she has too many clients that buy into her complete package service.  

    I'm sure she is a good CPA, but the fees just seem outrageous for a standard W2 + few rental properties tax return.

    As newbie real estate investors, Keith Griffiths and Ria took the time to meet with us for over an hour free of charge, to go over the basics of income properties and tax structuring. I thought their prices were very reasonable for the services they provided.

    Thank you all for the great referrals!  We are new to the area and after the death of our family friend of 30 years and CPA, I had no idea who to ask.  I’ve been following BP for a while now and figured that I would ask the community that would know best. Thanks again!

    Hey Cody! Thank you ! I’ve been decorating for the past 5 hours for his party tomorrow haha! So we haven’t had the opportunity to work with him yet , we had an initial intake meeting and we’re still deciding on using them , our hesitation is we relocated to Scottsdale AZ and considering someone local… with that said the intake meeting was fine… all standard stuff, no ah has yet… we’re really looking for someone that helps with strategy rather than just “doing” our taxes and books. If we end up going with them I’ll ping you. We plan on making that decision next week.

    We definitely need the planning and strategy aspect as well. The CPA's I called a couple months ago all pretty much told me to kick rocks until after tax seasons. So I guess ill start calling around again and setting up meetings
