Hey @Aron Mandel, welcome to BP! Congrats on getting started in the Montgomery market! Your focus on fix & flips and fix & rents under $100K is a great entry strategy for building cash flow and experience.
Hi Aron! Alabama is a great market to start investing in. I started working in REI on the selling side back in October and there is so much to learn and many connections to make when it comes to this market. I am about to send you a connection request and would like to set up a phone call to see where you are in your journey and if there is any help I can provide you with!
I am a new investor in the Montgomery, AL market and would love to connect with agents, property managers, and contractors.
Focusing on Fix N Flips/Fix n Rents under 100k.
Feel free to reach out to connect.
Looking forward to meeting you.
Thank you
Congrats! Curious, what made you pick Montgomery? I buy in Birmingham and Huntsville for rentals.
I was also looking in Birmingham and still might purchase there as well.
Seems Montgomery has a lower entry price and decent amount of inventory for what I'm looking for.
Heard that! Birmingham has a lower priced point as well which is nice but the areas can be really 50/50. Central Birmingham you can buy really cheap which helps the entry point. If my inbox comes across any lower priced Montgomery inventory I'll send your way!

If you’re targeting sub-$100k deals, the biggest thing I’d focus on early is making sure your scope and rehab budget actually align with your exit (flip vs rent). That’s where a lot of newer investors get burned.
I operate more on the multifamily/operations side, but we’re heavily focused on:
• Tight scope control
• Cost vs ARV alignment
• Building repeatable systems with contractors + PMs
Happy to connect — especially as you start putting your first few deals together.
