I am a real estate investor in Peoria with one duplex and one single family home so far but want to keep growing. Looking to connect with some other real estate investors in the area!
I live about an hour away, but work out of the Peoria area (except working from home due to Covid-19).
CAT still has a fairly large presence in Peoria. Two factories, some offices, suppliers. Also, Rivian is a new electric car manufacturer that is setting up in the old Mitsubishi factory in Normal.
Some bright spots, but not likely to see appreciation that you see in other markets.

Hello I am an investor based out of the Chicago suburbs and based on my analysis the cash flow in Peoria is quite attractive. Any thoughts on the East Bluff area of Peoria? I see there are a couple portfolios for sale - will property management companies touch this area of town?

@Allan Smith I am in the exact same shoes. Nashville resident as well. I'm going to try out Peoria / Bloomington still because it's the only place I'm familiar with and have enough money to pay cash with. If you want to connect I can let you know how it goes

@Account Closed there’s a meetup at noon today at The Warehouse on State in downtown Peoria. You can purchase lunch for $15 or just attend to listen and network.
