Has anyone applied for funds through the Rental Assistance Program in Mississippi? Do you know if any of the funds have been disbursed at this point, or what the time line might be.
I applied 6 weeks ago and haven’t received any funds. The online portal is suppose to help you track the status of your application, but mines still say application submitted after 6 weeks. I tried calling the toll free number and speaking to someone directly. They’re not disclosing any information. Just telling you to use the portal to monitor your application.

Yes! By tomorrow the application should say “Application in QC review”. My QC review took two days before the status was changed to “Application Approved”.
❤Thanks for replying! It sounds like we all just need to be patient guys! I'm going with what Nnya Davis says, so it sounds like recertification takes 2 months until paid out! Batched means paid out!❤
I have and he still hounds me so I told him if he thinks he can get it done any faster then here is the number and email address or better yet why don't he just go up there and show them how to do it so I haven't heard from him in a week 😂

Not sure on Mississippi. Colorado has some private foundations and groups doing it and if all of the paperwork is good including landlord's W9 and the lease is current it's about 3 weeks.
Hi everyone. I found out that payments over 5k is only sent out on the second Tuesday of each month. So if your payment of 5k or above is showing pending/processed/paid after Nov 9 and you haven’t received anything, u will most likely receive a DD on or around Nov 14

Mines not near that and I still haven't heard anything mine hasn't changed at all I have called and emailed till I'm blue in the face I don't. Know what else to do
@Larry Crews what is your application status? Mine actually took a month to start changing. Once it went into review it moved pretty quickly. But it remained in batched status from Nov 10 until Dec 7. Now it is saying app has been paid. However, my backpay amount was still pending. When you call, the reps don’t know anything in regards to the payment which is awful. When I found out my friend worked there, I asked her about it. She gave me the info about how the payments are sent but she couldn’t tell me much more. Have you asked any of the reps to send a message over to the payment dept?
@Wydeisha Jones yes. They should have you to fill out an ach dd form if you haven’t already done so. We’re just going to hope they do what they’re supposed to do.
