RAMP/ERA Program in Mississippi

Has anyone applied for funds through the Rental Assistance Program in Mississippi?  Do you know if any of the funds have been disbursed at this point, or what the time line might be.

 Yes! By tomorrow the application should say “Application in QC review”. My QC review took two days before the status was changed to “Application Approved”.

     No woodforest if an hour away and I went to one check cashing place and they said they don't cash them

    Can anyone tell how long it typically takes to receive payment after status updates to application has been paid? Receiving payment by check.

    @Janelle Rusjing your just waiting now ,mines didn’t show paid it showed batched .I received mines that same week

    Good morning, I just got payments from the ramp program. You have to have your tenants or you to check everyday.Alot of people meaning the tenants dont follow up.You have to do it yourself or stay on them to check on it.Call the ramp people in your area or email them what your tenants need to do and they will tell you their status. It took me 2 months but they paid me 4 and 6 months of payments.

    Have anyone received a check to them for the rent of so how long it took from saying batched and payment says processed?

    With the postal service being behind it could take up to 14 days

    How long after my landlord get a deposit of the penny will she start receiving funds? Or what does the penny mean?

    Can anyone tell me how long from the time your application updates to paid can you expect to receive a check in the mail? Someone who has possibly experienced this..

    @Jasmine Johnson did you receive your check on today since today is December 14?   I was told that I would receive payment today but still nothing.. the approval was definitely after 11/09 and over 5k

    @Janelle Rusjing no nothing.  I called and the lady I spoke with said she didn’t know why my payment was still showing pending.  Im sick of this

    @Jasmine Johnson same here! I’m beyond sick of the inconsistencies! So my status updated to application paid and the lady told me that I should receive it today and absolutely nothing. I just don’t understand this.. so you update to paid but that means nothing??? Like come on..

    @Janelle Rusjing yea I don’t get it at all.  My status shows paid but my amount is showing pending.  They don’t even have a date when it will be released!!!  They don’t seem to care about the urgency of people’s situation either.  It’s just awful

    Anybody relate? I did my first application and submitted it 10/24/21 then 12/7/2021 my status went from under review to pending approval in 1 day. Then a few days later "batched" how long will it take to go to the next stage? A few days or a week?

    @Jasmine Johnson so when you say account, you mean where it says pending/processed? If so mines showed processed when it was showing batched and it still shows processed w/application paid in full. I hate this! I pray we get it soon like, tomorrow.. Yeah the agents on the phone are of no help at all…

    did you check your spam? I think you can rectify for 3 months at a time. I have been told that multiple times by them.

    So you applied and it never went through or what?

     Yeah that are not helpful at all. If yours says paid you should be getting the check in the mail they told me it would be 2-4 weeks. If your landlord doesn't participate but if it does it will be paid directly to them. Mine doesn't participate so I'm waiting for it to be sent to me but mine says batched ATM.

    @Janelle Rusjing yes.  Im referring to the approved amount.  Mine says pending🤷🏽‍♀️. I just don’t know what else to do.
