Has anyone applied for funds through the Rental Assistance Program in Mississippi? Do you know if any of the funds have been disbursed at this point, or what the time line might be.
I applied 6 weeks ago and haven’t received any funds. The online portal is suppose to help you track the status of your application, but mines still say application submitted after 6 weeks. I tried calling the toll free number and speaking to someone directly. They’re not disclosing any information. Just telling you to use the portal to monitor your application.
I applied for a tenant my app is now saying application pending approval is that a good sign
Yes! By tomorrow the application should say “Application in QC review”. My QC review took two days before the status was changed to “Application Approved”.
@Laporsha Spiva it’s coming and your utilities are pending is it coming to you are your landlord.Help is on the way 🙌Is this your first are your recertification if so fill out the recertification asap
They told me after 11/01/2021 no more ACH would happen.. only checks
My landlord didn't participate, so my processor had me to upload the ach form not sure if it will come that way or by check. Also this is my first application from October.
@Jasmine Johnson have you tried emailing Home Corp or the Governors office? I heard it was working for a few people but I can’t be sure. I just know that this is beyond sad!! Wishing you the best and I’ll definitely keep you updated..
@Janelle Rusjing I emailed the home corp about 2 weeks ago with no response. I emailed the governors office today so maybe something will update tomorrow. And yes keep me posted and i will do the same.
@Ferial Alfarran your money on the way batched means they sent out a lot of checks together,Mines said batched .I’m doing recertification now
And you're doing the recertification for the next three months or do we have to wait for another few months pass before recertification again? How does that work

@Janelle Rushing Mine finally updated a month after my post to batched and my landlord received payment a week later but tell them to keep a check on their account because I was never notified when it was deposited into his account. he just so happened to check his balance and there it was. I recertification on 10/19 but haven't heard anything and no updates on the portal either so not sure when that will be paid and I have emailed and sent messages on the portal but no response.

@Ferial Alfarran yes I’m on my next 3 months,but they told me soon as you see the thing that pops up says heads up recertify do it download and submit to documents and you will be on your path for your next 3 months you will be a couple steps ahead for your recertification
@Arica Rogers ok I did the recertification app. to and I checked the one for my situations and I just emailed the mshomecorp thing this morning thanks hun
