RAMP/ERA Program in Mississippi

Has anyone applied for funds through the Rental Assistance Program in Mississippi?  Do you know if any of the funds have been disbursed at this point, or what the time line might be.

 Yes! By tomorrow the application should say “Application in QC review”. My QC review took two days before the status was changed to “Application Approved”.

     When did you do your paperwork to re-certify and when did they finally say something? 

    i did my recert December 6th and it switched to under review on December 13

    So I don’t have a regular bank account and there isn’t a chase bank located anywhere near me, does anyone know where I can cash the check? (I haven’t received it yet, but it’s supposedly on the way) Will Walmart possibly cash it?

    So after my stuff said batched and then it said application paid Dec 6. Today I received a call and said I need to send a copy of my landlord deed. Ok so she emailed it to them but as of today I’m beyond frustrated and why everybody telling  so many stories when u call or when someone call you, cause I was told a check been sent out but today i got to send the deed before they can send a payment because of the amount. Do anybody know anything? Have anybody had this problem and if so what happen next?

    @Janelle Rusjing hey once your landlord uploaded the deed what was your next outcome… because I was told a check was sent out and today I get a call to have landlord upload deed

    @Jo Dav currently still waiting. Portal says application paid in full, was told that a check was mailed out on11/16 and I should’ve received it by 11/29. Called and emailed repeatedly last week until I finally got someone and they told me my landlord needed to send in their warranty deed. The problem for me was that I would’ve never known that they were requesting it IF I had not called in..

    @Janelle Rusjing see I was told a check was sent out on 11/16 as well and on Dec 6 it said application paid. Called and a called and I was told last week that give it to this pass Saturday and I should be getting a check. Today I get a call and they said my landlord need to send a copy of the deed. The lady that call me sent a email to me and my landlord so my landlord emailed them a copy today. So let’s see how this goes

    For anyone whose already been approved and received payment for future months, it a second check to wait on or do they send it in one lump sum for rent?

    Why would they need your landlords deed that's crazy they didn't need it the first time

    I was wondering why is it taken so long for a check to be mailed in the same state I was told check was sent out last Tuesday

    its my first time and I don’t know it went from batch nov 16 and said application paid on Dec 6. I called and they said to expect a check by the past Saturday and still nothing and I call Monday and they said give it to the 24th…. An today someone call me and said they need my landlord to send a copy of the deed… it’s frustrating and I’m not going to do the recertification cause it’s to much

    I understand they you can talk to 5 people and get 5 different stories they way they have this all set up is ridiculous and then they can't give you a straight answer or tell you the truth it's hurry up and wait well the light company and the landlord won't wait they will turn you stuff off and throw you out I wish some of these people were in our situation they wouldn't be as patient as some of us have I have waited almost three months now and getting madder by the day

    Mine said application under review for like two to five days. Then it went to qc review and updated with a payment schedule. And then within two days if changed to batched
