Has anyone applied for funds through the Rental Assistance Program in Mississippi? Do you know if any of the funds have been disbursed at this point, or what the time line might be.

Yes! By tomorrow the application should say “Application in QC review”. My QC review took two days before the status was changed to “Application Approved”.

@Dee Murry I was told batched means you were approved and payment has been sent. Do you have a schedule on your portal yet?

@Shanika Sade McDonald I’ve already been paid for my original app. I submitted recert docs last week. Now my status went from Application Paid to Batched. They not responding to emails or in the portal 🤦🏾‍♀️

@Dee Murry You are the second person who has said this. I haven't gotten the recertification link yet? I just wish they would reach back out in a timely manner in regards to the status of the application

Not this slow… :/ my light bill finally posted on the 28th and I figured the check would be coming shortly behind it, but no.

@Ashaki Falkner I cant say if mine was sent or not my landlord hasnt been in the office since the week before Christmas. I have been on batched since 12/09/21

Wow that's awful.. can't they follow up to ask? Four months that's absurd. I applied on 10/24 & got assigned somebody on 12/07, then approved and payment sent by 12/10. I received the check on 12/20. Four months doesn't seem right. I am so sorry.

Can you email MS home corp? They respond quickly

I called them. All they could tell me is that the tenant had applied not what the status of their application is.

My landlord didn’t participate so it’s supposedly coming directly to me… I really don’t understand what’s going on or what the hold up is…
