Has anyone applied for funds through the Rental Assistance Program in Mississippi? Do you know if any of the funds have been disbursed at this point, or what the time line might be.
I applied 6 weeks ago and haven’t received any funds. The online portal is suppose to help you track the status of your application, but mines still say application submitted after 6 weeks. I tried calling the toll free number and speaking to someone directly. They’re not disclosing any information. Just telling you to use the portal to monitor your application.
I applied for a tenant my app is now saying application pending approval is that a good sign
Yes! By tomorrow the application should say “Application in QC review”. My QC review took two days before the status was changed to “Application Approved”.
@Destiny Jones my apologies,I’m really trying to figure out just what in the world do they have going on. I can’t get notnone person to respond to an email and it’s ridiculous!!
And when you do finally get someone on the phone they can’t tell you anything but your application status wowwwww this is crazy I have been seeing people email the governor and them getting someone to call them about there application the same day. It won’t let me post the governor email in the comments

I applied 12/10/2021 so what email or phone call I suppose to get I don't understand my landlord talking about eviction in Columbus Ms this is crazy n how will I know if my landlord participated in the program still in processor mode I don't understand none of this 😔😔😔
12/10 sorry to say but sit tight honey they taking at least 45-60 days to even change the status from submitted to under review..it’s a long waiting process

Need some kind suggesions I saw on tue three my informed delivery that my checks were coming in my mailbox and so far they haven't showed up I went to the post office and showed them a snapshot and they said since I didn't have a tracking number there was no way to track it so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
@Larry Crews MSHC can trace them but I don’t know how long it’ll take before your request to track get to the right person. Also in your informed delivery it should show if it was delivered or not, the option to say I haven’t received this mail should be there as well.
I marked I didn't receive it but the post office acts like they could care less and landlord is going Monday to get an eviction notice and my wife is having surgery on Monday so I'm really sweating all this if I don't have a heart attack or nervous breakdown it will be a miracle
I'm not really sure where it's coming from and I sure hope it comes tomorrow I have never had any problems with my informed delivery it was always in my mailbox when they said it would be till now
your landlord CAN NOT evict you on the rental assistance app it clearly says landlord agrees to not evict tenant when signing up For the program the landlord also signed there name beside it agreeing to it so now by law landlord agreed to not evict when they signed there part on landlord side.If they try to and landlord give you an eviction call the 1888 number and upload eviction on your document list

I thought they couldn't for 90 days and that has passed due to them being so slow and I have sent my landlord every email I have gotten even sent him a screenshot of the informed delivery he said he has been patient long enough I even showed him how they are paying him threw April but he doesn't want to hear any of that so all I can do is wait to hear back from Ramp and the post office because I filed for lost mail I sent landlord all that so maybe he will calm down I'm doing everything I possibly can do
I almost threw my envelope out! Be sure to open all your mail even what you may think is junk mail. They will deliver and no they won’t let you know they did. I have received 2 payments by direct deposit and another by mail when I was expecting a direct deposit. Like I said be sure to check and open all of your mail. It never said anything on the envelope of Mississippi home Corp or anything from RAMP. It was a plain white envelope that looked like junk mail. God bless you ♥️
As you can see I'm new to this. I'm going to try to hang in there Ferial. So basically there's no point of checking the processor daily 🤦♀️
Well, I would check the online portal every day just in case because when I got my first response I wasn't notified because the email went to spam. Like it notified me "your processor sent you an email in your portal" and I wouldn't have known if I didn't check the portal because it went to my spam. I only realized because I was checking the portal everyday for an update. I read others missed the email too and it went to their spam and their processor was waiting for weeks for a response to finish the application and issue payment.

It is my understanding that once they claim to have made the payment it will be about two weeks before you actually get it. You can be recertified for up to 15 months worth of rent. I have to be honest, though, I've lost my patience with Ramp. The last payment I received from them was in October and it covered July, August and September only, which means they are four months behind. I finally couldn't wait any longer and had to give my tenants a 3 day notice. If I'm paid before the court day, well and good but I can't wait any more.
On the 10th of January I got a message saying I had payment pending. Then it went away a few hours later. I called my landlord and she say the same thing happened to hers as well. So I waited a couple of days and it never came back. I been messaging them but they want even reply back. It’s like the system is down or something. Has this happened to anyone else?
Has anyone's application went from batched to application paid and still have not received the check? Mine said batched beginning of December now says been paid. I called to see if they could reissue the check in case it got lost in the mail or returned and all they could do was send a note to the payment processor. Any insight?
@Danelle Harrison Yes! Ridiculous! You may need to call/email MSHC they’re probably requesting more information. How long have you been on application paid?
