RAMP/ERA Program in Mississippi

Has anyone applied for funds through the Rental Assistance Program in Mississippi?  Do you know if any of the funds have been disbursed at this point, or what the time line might be.

 Yes! By tomorrow the application should say “Application in QC review”. My QC review took two days before the status was changed to “Application Approved”.

    When did you apply? I applied back in September and my application still says under review. I have a friend who applied in March and hers says the same.

    I also got the same results. I called and a representative told me to go up on the right hand corner of the app and tap sample documents and then scroll down to the bottom and tap download recertification template. Fill out the form and upload it back.

    Everyone listen YOU CAN'T GO BY THE NEXT PERSON STATUS.  They don't have it together. A mess.  I'm about to get evicted right now. Bc my status says paid. My landlord says he haven't seen any money. He's upset. Ramp want give me know information. As if I'm a stranger. I applied. It's my account. Ridiculous

    I’m not sure. Nothing wrong with trying because they not responding to anything and you get that same old lame respond they gonna send up a urgent note. They need to close down,

     I’m going threw the same thing mine said application has been paid like my landlord suppose to been got the check in may it’s July in they keep asking me for the rent stating that they haven’t received the check but the ramp ppl stated it automatically went in the account so now they claim there tracking the check trying to figure out where it’s at but still haven’t heard Nudin in almost a month this sucks

    I filled out everything for my niece and she’s been looking for a check since March of this year. They claim they sent it out but the postmaster returned it. My question was how was a check sent out when she uploaded a note stating that the post office box has to be included with the physical address. So upon checking with the postmaster they stated a check never came their with her name and by law any mail that is returned they have to log in it. All I can say the place is unacceptable.

    Just got my first reply through the portal stating a processor will be notified of my recert.  Hope it doesn't take months after this.  Been waiting 4 months now!!!

    I submitted my recert app on 5/5/22 it was received 5/13/22 only because I called and asked and was told it wasn’t so I had to resubmit it! I’ve been waiting for 3 months and my status is finally in review on the portal. Can anyone tell me if they have successfully been helped? Rent paid? Whether to landlord or themselves (my landlord does not want to participate) I’ve been sent the check directly the last time I recertified. Has anyone had any success in getting utilities paid? Reading these posts are truly disheartening and I only want to know if I’m getting my hopes up to be helped this time? When the RAMP people has the recertification applications I saw many people being helped, but now that this new division has recertifications only, I don’t feel that people are getting help as successfully as before. Any comments to this would certainly be appreciated! I just want to know if I should find other avenues? I’m sure my landlord is tired of hearing me say that I’m still waiting for a response.

    I think that is a good sign.  Hopefully everything will work out for you. I applied in April and got a response on the 14th, so I hope I get more of an update soon.

    This was their reason for denial for my rental assistance

    Greetings!

    Have you moved recently? If so that could be one of the reason it couldn’t be verified. They should have been more detailed about the reason because it could be numerous of things. I hope everything work out for you.

    I have been waiting on a response for my recertification since beg of may. I can't get anyone to respond or answer. I'm gonna try to call again tomorrow and hopefully get some information.

    Good luck because they responded to let me know they will notify a processor but not another word since.
