the part i found most thought provoking was that rich people have a library of books to improve themselves rather than middle class tend to stock up on novels, entertainment magazine
i disagree. college teaches you how to pass a test. you may learn things along the way, but most things you are never going to need in real life. especially needing to take something as dumb as art credits in order to pass a computer degree. as robert kiyosaki said, college teaches you how to work for someone, not how to work for yourself.
i talk to my friends all the time who are taking business courses but dont know the first thing on how to run a business.
colleges teach you how to dig for information in order to pass a test. they dont teach you how to apply that stuff to real world scenarios, because 99% of the stuff is never going to happen in real life.
college is the most overrated thing. Before government got involved (just like everything) it used to be something useful . but now anyone who is looking for a job, needs that useless piece of paper that says they passed college
Be careful with those absolute/blanket statements, bud. I use things from college/med school DAILY in my line of work, many years after the fact.
well for 95% of the people, what i just said is pretty much true. unless you finish at the top of your class or are going to school for something really useful.
i bet that college tuition is not worth it for most. they are blindly choosing to go to college because they think its the right thing
The biggest difference between the rich and average is their daily habits. The average American watches reality TV and follows sports and Hollywood actors and the actors/athletes receives part of the average American's paycheck. The wealthy know how to get paid by average Americans and have the discipline to use it to build wealth.
