Flooring for SFH Rental in N Atlanta

Need to replace carpet.  Going with LVP or LVP on main, carpet on steps and upstairs bedrooms.  

What LVP and installer are you using for SFH rental in N. Atlanta?

You might also consider painting the stairs instead of carpet. One of my property managers does this in a many of their properties. Looks a lot  better than you’d think and is easy and inexpensive to refresh.

    Never thought of painting steps.  Good idea.

    Anyone know if in Atlanta better to buy at flooring stores in Norcross or HD or F&D?

    Hi @Joe Mark. Floor and Decor probably has nice products than HD, but HD runs some sales sometime that cannot be ignored. Depending on how much you need, American Home Liquidators on Jimmy Carter has flooring, it comes and goes and quantities vary.

    I called over Georgia big and small, went to Offerup ads where stuff was stacked to ceiling... Floor and Decor ended up being the best option when all was said and done. Would like to have a few more installers in my rolodex myself, hard to save money in that department it seems these days

    Check out Flooring International on Dawson Drive (northbound access road by I-85 at Jimmy Carter).  They have discontinued product that's really high quality. They also have installers if you can't find a basic handyman/rehab person to do it. 

    I did two flights of townhome stairs in a nice, thick quality carpet for $12/yard (34 yards, 12' wide, approx $400).  They also have LVP of various qualities (from HD to Happy Feet & Shaw).  You have to go to the showroom to see what's available right then.

    Thanks for the suggestions.  Was hoping for a reasonable company that also installs.  F&D installers came and measured but their install prices are higher than installers have quoted.  Some recommendations came out and measured but never gave quotes.  Tenant had someone said all his friends were using. Gave me the quote.  They only measured downstairs and were pushing laminate. Did get single recommendation off of next-door.  Seems everyone is super busy.  May delay til August when school is back.
