Hey Guys - I've been in Charlotte for over 6 years now and love everything about the city. Me and my wife currently own three rental properties close to the heart of the city with two of them being ones that we've lived in and later converted into rentals.
Very interested in doing a BRRRR/ multi-family/MPH in the next 3-12 months and would love to connect with all the like minded locals! I'm also interested in doing some out-of-state investments and want to hear your stories!

Hey Ivan! I have grown up in CLT and also love this town too. For the last couple of months, I have researching and trying to become REI literate and educated enough to invest in my first property. I've had a goal for the past 8 months to pay off all of my student loans, and I'm about a quarter of the way done, so I may continue to do that while becoming as educated as I can before I make the first move. I'd love to hear how your first 3 rental properties went with you and your wife. I've been trying to find a meet up group around CLT, but haven't had any luck. Do you know of any?
Definitely following! Currently searching for a group to network with here in Charlotte. I own one rental property so far and house hacking the one I live in now. Trying to purchase a third single family here in the coming months. Would love to network with locals that know a thing or two about the industry.
I own properties in Texas, Tennessee, and NC(Charlotte). Each have their own nuances. Happy to lend help if you need anything. Charlotte has been competitive to buy in when compared to other markets I do business, so keep an eye out for good product and don't pass on the opportunity.

I’m currently taking a multifamily investing course and involved in a mastermind with other veterans who are serious about multifamily investing. We are looking to invest in multi-family properties next year. We have high credit scores and are saving. My husband is in accounting and I am very good with my hands in regards to fixing and building. I am working on a home in Fredericksburg,VA and another on a water front in Myrtle Beach. We're hoping that experience will be an advantage. We would love to link up with you and anyone else here and share on progress, tips and tricks. I personally feel better organized and need a to-do list. As far as connecting we have done a lot of reading on here and found Charlotte REIA but have not been able to go to meetings yet.

@Anais Hawkins. Hey Anais! Are you and your husband planning on investing in multi families in the Charlotte or are you looking at different markets? I'm taking a multifamily investing course and thinking about transitioning into that space as well. I have SFH in Charlotte and my primary residence in Alexandria just north of Fredericksburg. Hey @Ivan Ng and all! I am a relatively new investor in CLT as well. I moved down here from NY in sept. 2018 and joined BP earlier this year. Currently I only have 1 property but I am looking to scale this up in the coming year. Specifically, I’m looking to pull some MFH units by April next year.

@Robert Campbell it's very nice to meet you Robert. We are looking for MFH both In Charlotte and the surrounding area. We are hoping to have those two units up and going by mid year next year at the latest. Besides our independent research we're waiting on REI sessions to resume to get more information.
