Hey Guys - I've been in Charlotte for over 6 years now and love everything about the city. Me and my wife currently own three rental properties close to the heart of the city with two of them being ones that we've lived in and later converted into rentals.

Very interested in doing a BRRRR/ multi-family/MPH in the next 3-12 months and would love to connect with all the like minded locals! I'm also interested in doing some out-of-state investments and want to hear your stories!

Welcome to BP Ivan. As Don mentioned, the Metrolina REIA is the go-to for meetups around Charlotte. Not a whole lot going on right now, but once things open up again they have more meetings than you can imagine going to.

I do flips and buy and holds and would be happy to connect.

    Hey @Ivan Ng,

Congrats on getting started! My wife and I are investing in the Matthews, NC area and good luck to you in your search. The market here is pretty hot but there are definitely deals to be found if you can locate some off-market.

@Matt Basara good luck investing in SC! My wife and I recently sold a property in Lake Wylie, SC that we had as a rental because of MUCH higher taxes for non-owner occupants. I'm sure you may have researched this already but make sure when you calculate your numbers you account for the higher non-owner occupant property taxes along with the higher local school millage rates. Here is a link to the tax assessor's website in York County for some examples on how to calculate taxes and feel free to PM me if you have any questions about the area:
