Partner with Chinese wealth management company who shares with the same potential clients by providing more portfolio in their package and share some of the profit. They are also expert in getting money out of China. The only thing you can't move is the property, the rest you will be able to find a way to get around.

    @Joe Tran

    My personal experience finding Singapore investors, was not a whole lot different that how I have found my local investors... by referral. My first Singapore client had a bad experience with two different local property managers managing his 7 Cleveland properties. They asked their Cleveland based accountant to refer an honest realtor to get him out of his properties. I got the call, nurtured my client, and a few months later, three more Singapore clients came my way. I now manage 20 properties for them, and service them like crazy!

     Hi Joe, great questions! Not all that easy, many complex barriers exist when it comes to working with international investors.

    Just to go through a few basic items to consider:

    • Language Skill & Barrier
    • Currency Exchange - Value Fluctuation
    • Annual Investment Cap
    • Global Financial Government Taxation Treaties or Agreements
    • Defining the role you will play for the investor: Broker, Property Manager = Responsible for a possible tax impound
    • Cultural Barriers - understanding various appropriate and customary habits
    • Marketing, Production, Sales, Support

    You really need to define what you are selling, why you are selling and will the time you are selling reimburse you more than your cost of client acquisition and process? I think alot of people are interested in working with foreign investors, having experience working with individuals situated around the entire globe, having systems of communicant and transparent organization, is her critical. It is a complex and long term relationship that is defined, built and nurtured, you will have overtime some rogue outlier investors as you market yourself and push your brand, however, the core business and interaction will require much effort and networking. Much to think about it as you move forward with your entries. Much luck!

    @Joe Tran

    Good Morning Mr. Tran,

    I am a REI, residing in the Northern California, Bay Area, and I invest in property in the Northern Florida area. I currently have a home that I am looking to sell. I am new to the investor business, and I am looking to connect with Chinese buyers, however, I do not know where to begin. Any suggestions that you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
