Texas now has 140 planned data centers totaling 75 gigawatts of capacity and Austin's data center boom is among the fastest in the world. Central Texas is experiencing a massive data center boom, with over 70 projects tracked between Temple and San Antonio. The region has 7,823 MW of capacity planned—nearly septupling current levels.
