I have tried looking for an active REI Club in Fresno, CA and have yet to find one. I have found 2-3 but have tried for months to get a hold of the person in charge but to no avail. If anybody knows of any REI Clubs near the Fresno, CA area please let me know.

I know what you mean. I've called and left messages at the two REI cubs I found in the Fresno area and did not get a return call. Even the email I sent from the "contact us" link on one of the websites was returned to me as undeliverable.

Maybe it's time to start one of our own?

Have you tried going to the address for this one. I have not had time yet to check it out but anytime I call, it says that the number has been disconnected. I have even gotten desperate and tried calling Jim Sparano out of Modesto and Bakersfield but with no evail again. Apparently the Central Valley is not investor friendly.

I too have had no such luck in finding an active REI club in Fresno or the surronding area. I'm working for a company that is expanding into the central valley and we specialize in Trust Deed Investments and hard money lending. So if anyone is looking to invest in trust deeds or borrow for a project, please feel free to contact me at rk@firstcaploans Also, please take a look at our companies website for further information.

Keep me up to date if anyone should locate any active REI clubs in or around the Fresno area. Thanks

    Hi Chris
I live in Fresno, and am very knowledgeable about the real estate market as an investor. If I could help in any way, just send me an e-mail with your contact info.

    Dudes,

There IS a great Fresno REIA club...

Hit me up with a colleague request and we'll talk shop. Great group of people...I've not been there in a couple months as I'm doing my THANG in Detroit, but I know the guy that runs it real well.

Call or email me-contact info on the site.

I have found no REI in fresno, lets start one. I am a local Realtor, now wholesaling and going to start my first fix and flip. Let me know if anyone wants to meet up one day and network.

There used to be a REIA here, but they stopped meeting. I get emails from a group who meets weekly from Meetup.com. I have never attended but it may be worth it for you to check it out.

    Hi All,

Wanted to jump in this thread as I too have recently moved to Clovis from San Luis Obispo, CA.

I am hoping to get connected to a local REIA club. Has anyone had any luck finding one?

Hi Andrew, If you go the website for meetup you will find there is a number of them in the area.  I have yet to attend one so I can't give any recommendations. If you find a good one please post about it.   I recently signed up for the one called The 559 Real Estate Investor & Business Owner Community.  Does anyone have any comments about it?

@Anthony P.  I just looked and there are $25 dues for the year, but the first 30 days is free.  Take a look here -  http://www.meetup.com/Fresno-Deal-Seekers-Meetup/  Thanks for the great work you do with a tough job.

The dues are $25/year.  It basically covers the meeting facility.  Typically, they bring water and some snacks as well :-)
